Playing by the Rules

Wed 15 July 2009

The legal risk and compliance issues surrounding the development and operation of a website can be enormous. Many businesses operate significant parts of their business without properly complying, or protecting themselves. They engage third parties to undertake development and write content, without a second thought.

Robert will be talking for AIMIA at Tresscox Lawyers on the key issues to understand – and avoid – when it comes to building and operating a website; from copyright and IP and Accessibility, through to complying with recent Trade Practices Act changes to the display and advertising of prices.

Other speakers include from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the Australian Copyright Council.

Event Details:
10am, 15 July 2009
Tresscox Lawyers
